Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 13 October 2024 \u2014 The President of the Islamic
Development Bank (IsDB), H.E. Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, will attend the 2024 Annual
Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group (WBG) in
Washington D.C. from October 21 to 27, representing the IsDB Group during the plenary
sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to participating in key plenary discussions, Dr. Al Jasser will meet with ministers,
heads of multilateral development banks, and key figures on the global development stage.
These meetings will focus on strengthening partnerships to spearhead the achievement of
the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of IsDB\u2019s 50th anniversary, commemorated in April 2024, the Bank continues its
mission of promoting sustainable and resilient development in its 57 member countries
and beyond. This milestone marks five decades of efforts to address pressing global
