  • Cairo, 9 June 2026: Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), has officially opened applications for Season 18 of _Stars of Science_, QF’s flagship innovation platform dedicated to supporting the next generation of Arab innovators and entrepreneurs.

Application Details: Deadline June 26 for Innovators Aged 18-35
Applications are now open to aspiring entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, designers, creators, and problem-solvers aged 18-35 from across the Arab world and the global Arab diaspora. The deadline to apply is 26 June 2026 through the official program website.

Two Decades of Championing Arab Innovation on Global Stage
For nearly two decades, _Stars of Science_ has championed Arab innovation, entrepreneurship, and scientific advancement internationally. The program has supported generations of innovators whose ideas evolved into ventures, technologies, and solutions addressing real-world challenges, reinforcing QSTP’s mission to spotlight Arab innovation globally.

Season 18 Shifts Focus Beyond TV to Venture-Building
This season marks the platform’s most ambitious evolution yet. Season 18 introduces an updated format with stronger emphasis on venture-building, emerging technologies, innovation storytelling, and empowering the next generation of Arab innovators shaping the future.

Winner Receives Fully Supported Startup Experience in Qatar
The winner will receive a life-changing, fully supported venture-building experience in Qatar designed to transform their idea into a real company. The package includes mentorship, strategic guidance, office space, operational support, access to interns, and immersion within one of the region’s leading innovation ecosystems.

QSTP President: Doors Open Wider Than Ever This Season
“_Stars of Science_ opens its doors wider than ever this season to young innovators across the Arab world and its diaspora,” said Rama Chakaki, President of QSTP. “Anyone with an idea can apply, regardless of access to resources or networks. We want to give ambitious youth the tools to turn bold ideas into real ventures using science, technology, and AI to build startups that create lasting impact.”

The Voice Executive Producer Leads Creative Direction
Season 18 introduces an updated creative direction to better showcase Arab innovators’ journeys, led by internationally acclaimed Executive Producer Andrea Hamilton. Her credits include _The Voice_, _So You Think You Can Dance_, and _Little Mix: The Search_. The production is delivered by Zinc Media Group and its Doha-based label, The Edge.

Hamilton: Focus on Human Stories Behind the Inventions
Andrea Hamilton said: “_Stars of Science_ already has an extraordinary legacy across the Arab world. The opportunity now is to evolve the format for a new generation – bringing more scale, emotion, entertainment, and cinematic storytelling while keeping innovation and human ingenuity at the center. Target Sectors: AI, Robotics, Climate Tech, Health-Tech and More
Applications are encouraged from innovators, creators, builders, founders, engineers, and entrepreneurs working across AI, gaming, robotics, climate innovation, health-tech, fashion-tech, digital design, engineering, and future-focused entrepreneurship. Focus areas include ethical AI, longevity, sustainability, mobility, learning, and human connectivity.

Production and Broadcasting Details
Produced in both Arabic and English, the series continues expanding beyond traditional broadcasting to reach audiences across the Arab world and internationally through stories of innovation, ambition, and transformation. Filming will take place in Qatar later this year.
