During the first seven months (January/July) of 2026, remittances from Egyptians working abroad increased by 28.1% to record about USD 29.7 billion (compared to around USD 23.2 billion during the same period a year earlier).
Remittances from Egyptians working abroad continued their upward trend, rising by 20.0% in July 2026, to register about USD 4.5 billion (compared to around USD 3.8 billion in July 2025).
